Job Summary

We seek a detail-oriented Document Production and Formatting Specialist to support a complex project, with potential for future opportunities. The ideal candidate will integrate with a dynamic team of specialists, excel in document control, formatting, and creating linkable PDFs, ensuring professional, accessible, and polished deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Format documents in Microsoft Word and ensure consistency in style, layout, and structure.

  • Create and edit PDFs, including reference tables, bookmarks, hyperlinks, and ensuring compatibility across devices.

  • Convert documents between Word and PDF formats while maintaining layout integrity.

  • Perform quality checks to ensure all documents are error-free and adhere to project specifications.

  • Provide ad hoc support for document updates, edits, and formatting requests.

  • Ensure compliance with branding guidelines, document templates, and project-specific standards.

 Qualifications

Expertise in Document Production: Advanced skills in Microsoft Word (templates, master documents, mail merge), Excel (formulas, tables), SharePoint (file management, version control), and PowerPoint (slide masters, multimedia).

Document Control & Formatting: Proven experience managing and formatting complex, multi-author documents and large deliverables in Word and Adobe.

PDF Navigation & Structuring: Strong knowledge of hyperlinking, bookmarking, and creating navigable PDFs.

Quality & Accuracy: Exceptional attention to detail, proofreading skills, and typing accuracy.

Project & Organizational Skills: Experience in project-based work, ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain structured file organization.

Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal, time management, and written communication skills.

Additional Tools: Familiarity with Publisher and other documentation tools is an asset.
