The 2015 CEC Calendar Revealed
First of all, congratulations to Kevin Evans for winning the first annual CEC Calendar Contest!
THANK YOU CEC fans!
Your participation in this first calendar contest ensures future years to come, so thank you to everyone who helped to make this contest such a success. We are working on the photos for the 2016 calendar, so watch for our updates on the line up and when voting begins. We are really excited about the new set of photos and can’t wait to see what you will vote for!
What it means to us.
At CEC we are always taking photos of the sights we encounter through our work and play. A few hours outside can often results in as many hours of sorting and tagging our photos, and deciding if they’re worthy of the next calendar contest. Jim has perfectly straight horizons and the right landscape composition, and the enviable patience for those fantastic critter photos. Robyn chimes in with landscape photos but is more for the ultra-macro image of pretty much anything, and is happy to be belly down on the ground, nose to nose with the subject. The two of us definitely have different styles when framing up an image, but without a doubt, both love to take photos. And to share them with our colleagues, friends, and our community further inspires us to keep our cameras ready.
Our gift to you.
To celebrate the first of what we intend to be many years of the CEC Calendar Contest, we would like to share the success of this first year. Driven by your votes and encouragement, there wouldn’t be a contest without you. There can only be one true Kevin-Evans-winner but we would like more of you to have this first edition calendar. We have some extras so if you voted and didn’t win, or if you didn’t vote in time, here’s your second chance. Be one of the first 10 people to tell us which Biogeoclimatic Zone CEC lives in, and we’ll send you a calendar (send your answer to e. admin@corniceenvironmental.com; don’t forget your address!)…HINT> you can find the answer on our website.
Check out the calendar you made on the contest page.
